Using Paint to Increase Safety and Visibility in a Busy Environment

This facility is an active place to say the very least. At the same time, however, their floor lines and guardrails were covered with a tired, noneffective coat of paint, meaning that the work environment was not nearly as safe or efficient as it could be. Our mission was to remedy this situation!

The project included:

• Guardrail painting
• Painting the bollards
• Dock line painting
• Epoxy-encapsulated line striping - This adds an extra layer of protection and durability to the lines, allowing them to stand up to the wear and tear they will inevitably face.

We also used a bright yellow for all of the above painting work, increasing the visibility of these safety components. After all, the key is to have everyone be able to clearly know where they should be, and where others are, at all times.

Our painting process also allowed this center to pass a safety audit, adding extra value to the work!
