Painters USA’s Meg Cook Receives WBE of the Year Award

As we’ve mentioned before, we’re proud that Painters USA is a woman-owned business. In fact, owner Meg Cook invested the substantial amount of time and effort needed to become a certified Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). This elite designation is a benefit to us and to our clients, especially since it means that we can satisfy the diversity spending credits of our larger clients. 

Taking it a step further, Meg recently was recently honored in a very special way.

During the recent Women’s Business Council - Southwest’s 2020 Parade of Stars Awards Gala, Meg was named among just three recipients of the WBE of the Year Award. 

This prestigious award is reserved for businesses that stand out in three primary categories:

• Business acumen
• Industry leadership
• Commitment to working with other woman-owned businesses

“This whole experience has been wonderful,” Cook says. “It’s a privilege to be recognized, as a team, for our work, growth, and industry leadership. There were also so many incredible and inspiring business owners in attendance.”
