Tight Timeline for an Exterior Painting Project in the Chicago Area

Tight deadlines are nothing new to us. Neither is working around a company’s scheduled plant shutdown, or over holidays and weekends. We get that our clients have deadlines and schedules that are even bigger than their painting and coating goals, and that’s something we completely respect and adapt to.
This exterior painting project, however, took things to a new level.
Just One Day to Paint!
We were contacted recently by an industrial client of ours who had a very special project in mind.
Many years ago they had a large American flag painted on the side of their building. Over time, as happens to the best of us, it began to decay and fall prey to the elements. Especially on the side of a building where it had no protection, the wear and tear was extreme. This old flag was fluttering (and not in a good way) when we arrived.
There was just one catch: our client needed the flag completely repainted inside of one day.
The tight timeframe was being dictated by a railroad track that runs directly by the building. It was being shut down for one day, offering up our ideal, but brief, window of opportunity.
How Did This One-Day Painting Project Turn Out?
Thankfully Mother Nature decided to play ball! We were able to completely refresh the exhausted surface, restoring Old Glory to her former glory.
If you have a question about a commercial or industrial painting project you have in mind, please contact us at Painters USA! No goal or deadline will frighten us, we promise.
