A cardboard box manufacturer needed to freshen up their well-worn machinery & equipment as part of their newly instituted preventative maintenance plan.  We used a combination of cleaners then applied 2 coats of an industrial urethane, making the machines look years younger.

 Main Scope & Process

Machinery, Conveyors, & Catwalks

1. Project to be completed off hours and around the manufacturer’s production schedule, including 2nd and 3rd shift hours.
2. Thoroughly hand cleaned all surfaces of equipment & machinery using Simple Green.
3. Scuffed areas to be painted for superior coating bonding.
4. Applied 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Pro Industrial Urethane.

Results

• Machinery will now show any hydraulic leaks previously hidden by old grime.
• A machinery and equipment cleaning maintenance program was introduced to keep the areas looking new and performing at high levels.
• Longer life span for the machinery & equipment.
