We’re proud of a lot here at Painters USA, especially when it comes to our team’s hard work and commitment to excellence.

One prime example of this is our own Meg Cook’s pursuit of being a WBENC-recognized business owner and industry leader. This was no easy feat, but it’s quite a differentiator for our company, and helps our clients as well as they seek to satisfy their diversity credits.

Meg Cook’s recognition recently reached a new level when she was named among the winners of the prestigious Enterprising Women of the Year Award. Honorees were recognized from March 24-26 at the Westin Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

This award is reserved for women business owners who not only actively run their business, but meet several other key criteria as well:

1. Must demonstrate ownership of a fast-growth business
2. Must actively mentor other women or girls who are interested in entrepreneurship
3. Must be recognized leaders in their local communities

“This is an incredible honor,” Cook says. “I appreciate the experience, and being included in a group of such impressive, inspirational business owners and leaders from around the country. I’m especially grateful for the support of the whole team at the Painters USA family.”
