Great News - We Received Our WBENC Certification!

We have always been proud of the fact that we are a woman-owned business. Painters USA has been registered as such in the state of Illinois for over year, but we more recently wanted to pursue national recognition by becoming WBENC certified.  

So, why is this such a big deal?

WBENC stands for Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, and its purpose is to promote the presence of businesses owned and run by women in the general marketplace. To be WBENC certified involves so much more than simply registering with an organization; it is a process that can last several months and includes proof being shown of ownership, management, and direction provided by a woman or group of women. Not only is this a certification to be proud of in itself, but it also allows us to satisfy the diversity requirements that many large companies are required to meet.
