Painters USA is proud to be part of a community that values supporting our servicemen and women. On Saturday, July 22, 2023, we had the incredible opportunity to be a part of an event organized by The GM Arlington Veterans Group that brought joy and sustenance to the brave members of MALS-41, a Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron based out of Naval Air Station, Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth.
MALS-41 is a remarkable unit consisting of a combination of reserve and active duty Marines who dedicate their time to provide intermediate-level maintenance support for two of the Marine aircraft squadrons stationed at the base. These squadrons include Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 112 (VMFA-112), flying the impressive F/A-18 Hornet, and Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 234 (VMGR-234), operating the mighty KC-130J Hercules. Additionally, MALS-41 also supports Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 764 (VMM-764), which operates the MV-22B Ospreys from a detachment at MCAS Miramar, CA.
The hamburger cookout, organized by the GM Arlington Veterans Group, provided a much-needed break from their training schedules and offered a moment to unwind and bond as a close-knit unit. The event would not have been possible without the invaluable efforts of 1st LT Jesus Gonzalez and 1st LT Laine Brown, who played a significant role in coordinating the day's activities.
Painters USA, selflessly donated food to support the cookout. Their contributions exemplify the spirit of community and support for those who serve our nation.
As Painters USA, we are honored to have been a part of this noble initiative to express our gratitude to the brave men and women of MALS-41. It is through such events that we can collectively show our appreciation for their sacrifices and dedication to safeguarding our freedom. The hamburger cookout not only served as a delightful culinary experience but also as a reminder of the strong bond that exists between service members and the local community. The event brought people together and strengthened the ties between the military and civilians, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.
As a nation, it is important that we continue to acknowledge the dedication and sacrifices made by our military personnel. Let us come together and express our gratitude whenever possible, ensuring that they know their efforts are valued and cherished.
Painters USA proudly salutes the GM Arlington Veterans Group and all those who work tirelessly to support our armed forces. Together, we can make a positive impact and show our appreciation for the true heroes among us.
