What TWIC cards involve

Painters USA believes in training and certification for everything from product and process knowledge to safety on job sites to security documentation, such as the Transportation Worker Identification Credential or TWIC card for short.

The TWIC card allows our crews to work on or near the nation’s waterways.  This security measure keeps people who may pose a threat to our ports from gaining access to secure maritime facilities and vessels.  The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) conducts a background check on all who apply for a TWIC card, and only U.S. citizens or people in an eligible immigration category can apply.  TWIC cards also require being fingerprinted and photographed.
